Flower Systems

Sculpture at the wall – rondels of rusted cast iron spaced, tilted and lain flat atop stainless steel. These weighty forms feature angled and delicately poised planes of metal, with rust varying in patina from light and powdery to dense and dark. The iron petals appear to float and move within a contemplative, hushed space reminiscent of rose windows in a wood-darkened church interior. The exhibition presents new works by Anton Parsons in cast iron, aluminium, and stainless steel.
