Osmosis

Osmosis presents new work by Stacey Turner, exploring fluidity between drawing and painting, figure and ground, and the formal qualities of brushwork expanded into larger expressive compositions. Turner examines tension and release through rhythmic, intuitive mark-making that encompasses stasis, dance, and moments of concentrated attention. Colour references seasonal palettes and fluorescent tones, blending culture and nature. This is Turner's first project for Jonathan Smart Gallery.
