Event Horizon

Michaela Gleave's first major solo exhibition at a public institution in Australia, offering four new bodies of work along with her performance series Universal Maintenance. The project draws on concepts from astrophysics, quantum physics and Earth sciences to explore limits of observation, scale and knowledge, using energy fields and physical materials such as mist, sound waves, atmospheric conditions, glitter, musical instruments, recycled timber and inflatable objects.
