The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) is Australia's only public museum dedicated entirely to contemporary art, located on Sydney Harbour at Tallawoladah on the Country of the Gadigal people. Housed in a grand Art Deco building, the MCA presents exhibitions, collects living artists' work, and runs creative learning programs; its collection of over 4,700 artworks is the only public collection in Australia focused on living artists, with more than a third by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists.
