Data Dreams considers artificial intelligence and its impact on contemporary life through the work of 10 visionary artists. The exhibition examines how artificial intelligence is transforming the way we live, think and create, bringing into focus contemporary concerns including the relationships between technology and power, how algorithms and datasets influence our worldviews, and the environmental costs of the data economy. Spanning interconnected gallery spaces, Data Dreams features immersive installations, AI-generated films, images and sculptures. The participating artists are Angie Abdilla, Kate Crawford and Vladan Joler, Fabien Giraud, Lynn Hershman Leeson, Christopher Kulendran Thomas, Agnieszka Kurant, Trevor Paglen, Hito Steyerl, and Anicka Yi.
